Thorlabs offers a number or Manual Drives for use with RollerBlock Stages. These drives in paticular can be fitted to components with a standard 3/8" (9.5 mm) mounting clamp.

 (posted 2016-06-22 11:47:11.343) I have a question on the DM10B actuator. I think I get how the fine resolution is 0.5um: 50 um per turn, 50 divisions per turn so 1 um per division ... assume I can do a half division turn so 0.5um for fine resolution.
With this same reasoning wouldn't I get 5um sensitivity for the coarse resolution ... how does one get to the 1um coarse sensitivity that's listed ? besembeson

The DRV004 Thumbscrew Drive is compatible with our NanoMax MAX300 and MAX600 series stages. The large-diameter knurled knob provides excellent sensitivity with better than 1 µm resolution over an 8 mm adjustment range. Simply unscrew the existing drive and fit the DRV004 as shown to the right.
When used with the modular, quick-connect adapters (MCA1 and MCA2) the DRV004 can also be fitted to components with a standard 3/8" (9.5 mm) or 10 mm (0.39") mounting clamp - see the image to the right.

The DRV3 8 mm Differential Adjuster is a modular, quick-connect version of our DM10B adjuster featured below and is compatible with our NanoMax MAX300 and MAX600 series stages. Simply unscrew the existing drive and fit the DRV3 as shown to the right.
Two large knobs are provided for coarse and fine adjustment. The coarse adjustment provides 8 mm of travel at 500 µm per revolution, while the fine adjustment provides 300 µm travel at nominally 50 µm per revolution (fine graduation scale does not scale linearly with distance).
When used with the modular, quick-connect adapters (MCA1 and MCA2) the DRV3 can also be fitted to components with a standard 3/8" (9.5 mm) or 10 mm (0.39") mounting clamp.

The Thorlabs High Precision Adjuster offers exceptional resolution and repeatability. The innovative lever mechanism design provides a precision mechanical advantage, which multiplies the resolution of its high-precision fine adjustment threads, that results in a small displacement of the spindle. This approach provides uniformly smooth motion that is largely independent of loading.
Two large knobs are provided for coarse and fine adjustment. The coarse adjustment provides 8 mm of travel, while the fine adjustment provides 300 µm travel. The DM10B has a Ø9.5 mm (3/8") mounting barrel and is compatible with our RollerBlock™ series of linear stages.
