Air Compressors (PTA512, PTA513, and PTA514)
These air compressors create up to 8 Bar (116 psi) of air pressure and are self contained, lightweight, quiet, and compact. Each compressor ships with a bottle of compressor oil, which is also sold separately below (PTA1006).

Air Filter/Regulator (PTA013)
The PTA013 filter removes potentially damaging contaminants from the compressed air used in vibration isolation systems. The unit also regulates the pressure in the air line.

Foot Pump (PTA127)
The PTA127 is a manual foot pump that can be used to pressurize passive vibration isolation systems where a constant supply of air is not necessary.

Is PTA 513 shipped with air tubing? If not could you give me part number that compatible with PTA 513 and T1530QK table?

Response from Mike at Thorlabs: The active supports that are part of the T1530QK bundle ship with 20m of 6mm outer diameter tubing.

Hello, I must replace the connector at the end of the PTA127 foot pump. I this part available from Thorlabs or what kind of product (type, size) should I look for? Thanks, Dan

Response from Rob at Thorlabs: The connector on the end of the PTA127 is a standard schrader valve connector found on most bike and car pumps. Unfortunately we do not sell this component separately, however the part can easily be sourced from most hardware stores.

Hello, I recently bought an air compressor #PTA512, a table PBI12116 and the PBI12116 frame. This system will support a 1 micrometer resolution optical lithography system. I'm planning the layout of the lab, and I'm wondering how much vibration do the compressor add to the system?, it sould be placed far away? Any comments on this would be more than welcome. Thanks Laura

Response from Jeremy at Thorlabs: Ideally the compressor should be placed as far away as possible. From experience, we have placed the compressor underneath the table and have had no issues with it.

Water and particles commonly found in compressed air can be damaging to a vibration isolation system. This compact filter/regulator is recommended for use with all Thorlabs active isolation breadboard support frames. It regulates the air pressure supplied to the isolators while removing moisture and particles down to 5 µm. The fittings are compatible with the 6 mm diameter plastic tubing supplied with the active isolator frames and with the air compressors sold above. Each filter/regulator is shipped with a wall mounting bracket and two 1/4" to 6 mm outer diameter tubing adapters.

The PTA127 is a manual foot pump that can be used to pressurize passive vibration isolation systems where a constant supply of air is not necessary. The foot pump comes with a Schrader-type connector, pressure gauge, and 2 m of hose to allow convenient positioning of the foot pump. Our passive breadboard frames, passive ScienceDesks™, and passive tables legs can all be used with the PTA127 foot pump.
